AmeriCorps Member
Makin’ It Happen is partnering with Goodwill AmeriCorps Serves to be a Granite State Service Corps site! The Granite State Service Corps places AmeriCorps members in New Hampshire schools and nonprofits, where they serve at-risk youth (ages 10-21) who have been impacted by Adverse Childhood Experiences, such as the foster care system, the opioid crisis, and/or child abuse. Members serve the “whole child,” focusing their efforts on building resiliency and increasing childhood protective factors. Members gain experience in education, youth services, community engagement, and social work. We are recruiting a member to help with our EmpowerYOUTH! leadership program and implementation of substance misuse and suicide prevention programming.
