Know and Tell is a statewide initiative of the Granite State Children’s Alliance it is a public responsibility movement, to educate ALL ADULTS to KNOW the signs of abuse and TELL responsible authorities when they recognize them.
They have developed resources to help educate all adults about mandating reporting, what to look for, and questions to ask/topics during this time of remote learning.
Tips for Communicating During Remote Learning” contains language that is more specific to Educators/Students. The green one – “Tips for Communicating with Children During Social Distancing” removes the educator/student language and is geared toward the general public – youth serving organizations, practitioners, volunteers etc.
They are also putting together a KNOW & TELL Presentation Series with the Bureau of Student Wellness on April 21, 22, 23 at 3pm (each will be an hour or less). Topics will focus on mandated reporting, what it looks like during remote learning, the signs of abuse & neglect, internet safety, and wellness during COVID-19.
